A Story of 2 Unicorns

When I founded Shattered Glass Consulting, the name was intentional.

Healthcare systems are often fragmented — clinically, operationally, educationally, and structurally. My work has always centered on helping organizations move from fragmentation toward resilient, data-driven models of excellence.

For several years, I held a professional distinction that was deeply meaningful to me: being the first clinician globally inducted as a Fellow across ACCP, PPA, and NAP.

Recently, I had the privilege of supporting the application of a deserving peer to join that same distinction.

And I could not be prouder.

Some might view that as giving up a unique claim or a marketing strategy during a company launch. I see it differently. Excellence should never be something we protect for ourselves. In high-stakes healthcare, leadership means building pathways that allow others to rise, lead, and strengthen the systems around them.

That belief is central to Shattered Glass Consulting.

My career has often focused on what I think of as clinical salvage: helping teams and institutions stabilize struggling systems, rebuild trust in data-poor environments, and create structures that others can replicate and sustain.

Mentorship is part of that same work.

At Shattered Glass, we do not simply provide consulting. We help build the strategic, clinical, and educational frameworks that support safer care, stronger institutions, and long-term growth.

The foundation is simple:

Integrity is not separate from innovation.
Integrity is what makes innovation possible.

I did not build this firm to preserve a solo distinction. I built it to help break barriers — and to help others step through them.
