Dr. David S. Hoff
Chief, Clinical Safety
David Hoff believes a medical system is only as reliable as its safety barriers. He specializes in Structural Reliability—the process of codifying complex clinical data into hard-wired safety protocols that ensure every child receives a "Standard of Excellence." David treats medication safety as a global engineering challenge, focusing on the surgical replacement of unstandardized practices with rigorous, data-driven infrastructure.
In 2017, David addressed a critical "failed state" in pediatrics by commissioning and coordinating the elite task force behind the KIDs List (Key potentially inappropriate drugs in Pediatrics). This groundbreaking document established the first global evidence-based standard for pediatric medication safety, identifying high-risk drugs and excipients to prevent systemic adverse events.
David is a global pioneer in Safety Architecture. His influence extends across international borders, having served as a pharmacy consultant in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in India.
